Happy Mothers Day to all of our school moms and grandmothers. We hope your Sunday is filled with blessings, love, and some leisure time. Only two more Fridays in our school year. There is still much to be accomplished. Teachers have finished the STAR and Archdiocesan Assessments for the end of the year. STAR assessments results for both math and reading will be included in your child’s final report card, distributed on Wednesday, May 25th.
Remember that Friday May 13th is our Field Day at Saint Joan of Arc. Students walk to Pipal Park for different activities. Miss Pottebaum has selected a Dr. Suess theme for this year. Our 8th graders will be helping out with the event. Be sure to sign your child’s permission slip in order to participate. We dismiss at 1:00 on May 13th. There is no extended care that day.
If you have not returned your registration form for next year, a new copy of the form is being sent home today. Please get those back to school ASAP. If you are planning to attend a different school, please let us know. Having a good projection of enrollment is key to helping us budget for the upcoming school year.
It seemed like everyone had a great time at the Crusade for Excellence Dinner last Saturday. Thank you to everyone who helped to make the evening a success. Again, Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there.
